Exam day
Pick-up at 6:00. Lectures in Thai and English, practice, then the theory test. Lunch is included. Back in the evening.
Tuesday
Licence in your hand
Collect your licence around 11:00. Done.
What the exam day actually involves
Lectures in Thai and English, then the practical on a marked course: reversing between posts, parallel parking, and a stop line. The theory test sits inside the afternoon lecture. A missed attempt puts you back in the queue for the same day.

FAQ

Is the practical test on my own car?
No. A school car is provided at the DLT office. You don’t need to own or rent anything.
Is it automatic or manual?
The test car is automatic, and a Thai category B licence covers both. There is no separate manual test.
Can I drive with my international permit while I wait?
If your national licence and IDP are both valid, yes — and in that case converting them costs 5,500 ฿ with no exam at all. If either has expired, you are driving unlicensed, and the fine is 2,000 ฿.
Does this cover pick-ups and vans?
Category B covers ordinary cars, pick-ups and small vans up to 3.5 tonnes. Heavier commercial vehicles are a separate Thai category we don’t handle.
Can I add the motorcycle category?
Yes. Both on the same Saturday is 19,000 ฿ rather than 23,000 ฿. Added later, the motorcycle licence is the full 10,000 ฿.
My family needs three licences — is that a problem?
No. The group takes several people at once and the schedule is the same for all of them. Message us with how many and we’ll put you in the same Wednesday group.
